you can't prescribe a pill for spiritual warfare.

The Power of Faith in Healing
For the past year, I’ve really leaned into my faith and belief in the Almighty Creator, Yahuwah. This has become the cornerstone of my healing journey. It’s fascinating how this perspective has shaped my understanding of my role as a family nurse practitioner.
Every day, we face struggles. In the medical world, we often think we can simply prescribe a solution to every problem. But I’ve come to realize that this is far from the truth. Many physical health issues are often manifestations of spiritual warfare, either hidden or right in front of us. So, how can we prescribe a pill for that?
Sure, medication like anti-anxiety drugs or mood stabilizers can help. But do they really address the root issue? If you're battling a spiritual struggle, it requires a spiritual solution.
My Personal Health Journey
This brings me to my own health journey. At one point, I was doing all the "morally spiritual" things to get "closer to God." I practiced yoga, deep breathing, and mantra chanting. I thought these activities were bringing me closer to my Creator. But, in reality, they were driving me further away.
I often wondered, “Why don’t I feel more spiritually intact? Why don’t I feel more mentally stable?” The answer was simple: I needed to simplify my practice and stop following the ways of the world. I needed to follow God (YAH) directly.
It’s remarkable how we often think we need to do so much to gain God’s attention. In truth, it’s about following God’s word, connecting through prayer, and striving to live righteously.
A New Perspective on Patient Care
Reflecting on my experiences with patients, I often see individuals struggling with numerous issues. Many have tried everything, yet they don’t achieve the breakthroughs they seek. Since embarking on my spiritual journey, I’ve gained a new perspective.
It wasn’t until I developed my own spiritual relationship that I recognized this need isn't just mine; it’s universal. Regardless of one’s beliefs or practices, the underlying needs remain the same. To achieve breakthroughs, we must connect to a higher power, a source greater than ourselves.
Even those who believe they only need to find themselves must realize that true growth comes from connecting to something larger. Alone, we are often driven by our egos and environments, which can skew our perspectives. So, how can we trust our own voice?
That’s why my reliance has shifted. It’s not just about discovering myself; it’s about discovering the one who created me. Once we dive into understanding our Creator, we can identify the rhythms necessary for effective change and healing.
The Breakthrough of Understanding
When we acknowledge that, even in our creativity, we are not the Creator, we begin to experience real breakthroughs. We can release our burdens to that higher power, lifting the weight off our shoulders. For that, I am incredibly thankful.
Sometimes, healing requires us to look beyond ourselves. If we remain trapped in our small bubbles, we might miss the breakthroughs we desperately need. We must break through these confines and connect with a higher power to gain the insights necessary for healing.
The Limitations of Our Healthcare System
This approach isn’t something we typically see in our current healthcare system. Unfortunately, it’s not designed to help people heal their bodies or spirits. But what if we took a bold step forward? What if we began incorporating spiritual elements into our healthcare more frequently?
Imagine the bondages that could be broken, the spiritual battles that could be won, and the communities that could flourish. This is why I’m changing my model. I want my members and followers to understand that true healing requires integrating spirit and faith into their healthcare plans.
Sometimes, this is the only path to genuine breakthroughs.
Conclusion: A Call to Action
In closing, I encourage you to explore your own spiritual journey. Embrace the connection with your Creator. It may just be the key to unlocking your healing potential.
Let’s take this journey together, breaking barriers and fostering a community dedicated to holistic health. Together, we can empower ourselves and each other to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Give Thanks,
Mary
